1. What is weight?

2. What is the count?

Definition: The length and code of cotton yarn with a standard weight of one pound.

1) Coarse yarn: pure cotton yarn of 18 counts or less, mainly used for weaving thick fabrics or piled and looped cotton fabrics.
2) Medium yarn: pure cotton yarn of 19-29 counts. Mainly used for knitted garments with general requirements.
3) Fine yarn: pure cotton yarn of 30-60 counts. Mainly used for high-end needle cotton fabrics.

The higher the count, the softer it is. T-shirts are generally 21 and 32 counts.

3. What is combing?

T-shirt cotton yarn can be divided into carded yarn and combed yarn.

1) Carded yarn: refers to yarn spun by carded spinning process, also known as uncombed yarn.
2) Combed yarn: refers to yarn produced by using high-quality cotton fiber as raw material, and the combing process is added to the spinning process compared to carded yarn. The surface of the fabric is relatively neat and the feel is also very soft.

2. Cotton polyester: that is, cotton + polyester, generally 80% + 20%. This overcomes the shortcomings of pure cotton that it is easy to wrinkle and deform, and the moisture absorption is also excellent, which is better than pure cotton.
3. Cotton + nylon: Super good. It has all the advantages of cotton, elastic, and has a silk version. It is comfortable to wear.
4. Cotton + Lycra (Spandex): This is an elastic fabric, which is generally more slimming, showing the figure, and wearing it close to the body will not feel the same as wrapping it up, and it is elastic.
